In alignment with Egypt’ s continuous support to the Capacity building efforts in its continent, realizing the need for Africa to revolutionize its approach to address the capacity gap in the continent.
In preparation for a successful and effective implementation of The Africa Free Trade Area.
IBDL and AfroDev company, in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Egyptian Embassy in Washington D.C., and Afrixem Bank and U.S. Trade Department,
organized a Capacity Building Program, that was held in Washington during the period from the 2nd to the 6th of March 2020.
This program aimed at helping accelerate the Intra Africa trade and boosting Africa s trade position in the global market.
The program was opened by His Excellency Ambassador Yasser Reda, the Egyptian Ambassador in Washington, and Ambassador Wafaa Bassim, former Assistant Foreign Minister and guest of honor MR. Dale Tasharski Deputy Director General of U.S. Department of Commerce With the participation of 40 diplomats from 30 African countries.
