The LFC toolkit offers a curated selection of well-known foresight methods in a simple package, making it easy and lean for teams to engage in future thinking discussions. The toolkit consists of four phases: Scoping & Horizon Scanning, Scenario Building, Exploration & Provotyping, and Evaluation & Roadmap. Each phase has its own canvases that guide the team through the future thinking process. The phases are not necessarily linear, and the team may need to revisit certain canvases or phases depending on their progress and insights gained throughout the process. The toolkit is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the team's and the project's needs

Learning Objectives:

  • Introduce participants to future thinking and its significance in today's volatile and uncertain world.
  • Familiarize participants with the three critical approaches to future thinking: futures literacy, strategic foresight, and explorative futures.
  • Provide participants with a thorough understanding of the Lean Futures Creation methodology.

A capstone project in the context of an executive education program, specifically an institutional development project, is a culminating project that allows participants to apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program to a real-world organizational challenge or opportunity.

Program Certification:

Lean Futures Creation program certificate is accredited internationally by the prestigious International Leadership and Training Center (ILTC) of Missouri State University.
