IBDL Goes to Guinea

Continuing to expand its activities in Africa, International Business Driving License (IBDL) Foundation has just announced the great news of singing a new agreement with the University of Gamal Abdel Nasser at Conakry in Guinea.   The agreement is the fruit of a series of successful endeavors between Dr. Mohamed Galal, the Chief Development Officer-Africa of IBDL and The Minister of pre-University education and literacy, Mr. Ibrahima Kalil Konaté, and The Minister for higher education and scientific research, Mr Abdoulaye Yéro Baldé as well. IBDL’s first existence in Guinea was through the IBDL scholarships that aimed for training the Guineans youth in management and entrepreneurship empowering them to take the next step in their careers. This training was provided by international business driving license (IBDL) in collaboration with the Egyptian Development Partnership Agency of the Egyptian Ministry of foreign affairs.   The agreement comes as step forward in IBDL’s plan to expand allover Africa, as IBDL has expressed its interest in supporting African cadres through training courses organized by IBDL in cooperation with EAPD, aiming to develop the skills of African youth in increasing trade exchange between African countries and the world. This will be achieved through different executive courses, delivered by IBDL aiming to reach all of Guinea to help sharpen the Guinean youth skills and train them to be the next generation of business professionals.

PSF, University of Kigali Strikes a deal To Train 1,000 Young Entrepreneurs

  Private Sector Federation (PSF), University of Kigali and International Business Driving License (IBDL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims at capacity building of the Rwandan business community in different sectors. The MoU signed on Thursday will see at least 1,000 young entrepreneurs acquire hands-on training by next year. Chief Executive Officer of PSF, Stephen Ruzibiza said the agreement focuses on youth businesses in a bid to promote their development and production through adequate knowledge. "The new programme is tailored to equip our young members with adequate knowledge and this will further enhance competitiveness and production", said Ruzibiza.     He said the programme was originally designed for the youth but opportunities will reach out to others later in order to reduce the rate of business losses in the country. “Lack of is of business skills is among major causes of business failures. Therefore, your prospective business ideas may go to waste just because you lack the capacity to explore them,” he observed. The new training programme is expected to create between 10,000 and 30,000 jobs in the Country. IBDL Chief Development Officer-Africa, Dr. Mohamed Galal emphasized the importance and necessity of the programme, saying it helps develop Rwanda’s business sector. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Kigali, Philibert Africa, assured of the university’s competences for offering business skills and strongly build the capacity of young entrepreneurs as agreed in the MoU.

The National Council for Women Announces 100 IBDL Scholarships

  In collaboration with IBDL, International Business Driving License, the National Council for Women announced offering 100 IBDL training scholarships for internationally certified trainers. In its announcement, the council highlighted the efforts being made by IBDL to contribute to the development of the Egyptian women and enabling them to be qualified leaders. IBDL is active in over 64 countries worldwide providing three certificates which are the first and pioneering certifications of their kind in Business Administration field.   Organized by IBDL, in cooperation with EAPD, IBDL launched on Saturday 25th of November, their new program “International Management Bootcamp” which offers executive education for African union executives and will be taking place from November 25th to 2nd December, 2017 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The five-day comprehensive international management program is solely focused on the needs, challenges and opportunities of growing organizations. The main aim of the program is to help the African union executives learn how to create and execute strategies in order to move faster and operate more efficiently. The boot camp comes as part of IBDL’s strategy to support African cadres through training courses organized by IBDL in cooperation with EAPD, aiming to develop the skills of diplomats in increasing trade exchange between African countries and the world.

Dr. Sadek will be overseeing the Mogul Business Simulates game which is a computer-based model targeted at introductory management courses. Mogul is one of IBDL’s products that aims to help participants early in their careers to get the first-hand experience running their own simulated business in a safe environment. The Program for Advanced Leadership and Management (PALM10) is dedicated to leveraging the skills of experienced leaders who can take advanced decisions to address challenging issues. The participants will leave with a broader vision of success and shall be equipped to make the tough decisions required to succeed in today's global economy.

The main aim of the program is to help the African union executives learn how to create and execute strategies in order to move faster and operate more efficiently. The program offers the trainees the great opportunity of getting exposed to leading research happening at Harvard’s world, International Business Driving License (IBDL) Studies and identifies engines that can drive or inhibit growth. All this would be done through case studies, guest speakers, and peer interactions where stories of success and failure will be shared.

Diplomats of the 21st Century and Economic Diplomacy

  On Sunday, October the 8th, 2017 - The International Business Driving License (IBDL), in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EAPD), launched its program to train 100 diplomats from 40 African countries under the title “Diplomats of the 21st Century and Economic Diplomacy ".   The training comes as part of the strategy to support African cadres through training courses organized by IBDL in cooperation with EAPD, aiming to develop the skills of diplomats in increasing trade exchange between African countries and the world. This also stresses the importance of cooperation with specialized centers of excellence in all developmental fields to organize training courses aimed at African diplomats, in line with the country's strategy to travel to the continent.   The meeting was attended by Dr. Hazem Fahmy, Secretary General of EAPD, Eng. Sherif Dilawar, International Economic Expert, and Dr. Khalid Khallaf, Executive Director of IBDL. Tanzania, Nigeria, South Sudan, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia are at the top of the list of the participating companies in the program.
