IBDL Celebrates the Female African Media Gurus

Aiming to tighten the bond between Egypt and Africa, the EAPD (Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development), in cooperation with IBDL, has organized a delightful visit for an African delegation including some of the most influential media professionals from the plateau continent. During their stay, the delegation’s members visited several well-known Egyptian sites and some Egyptian educational organizations that were developed by Egyptian professionals.  Celebrating their visit, IBDL has organized a workshop highlighting the importance of media and its role in marketing. During the workshop, the delegation’s members showed a high level of professionalism as they got introduced to the IBDL curriculum. The workshop resulted in some great African-flavored marketing plans that would serve the countries that participated in the workshop and add the Egyptian expertise to their respective communities. With its strong belief in the tremendous importance of Africa, IBDL has appointed Dr. Mohamed Galal as Chief Development Officer dedicated to Africa. During an exclusive interview with him, Dr. Galal has confirmed the great importance IBDL is giving to the African continent, as well as the amount of investment IBDL is planning for Africa during 2017 and 2018. Dr. Galal has also announced that IBDL is regarding Africa as its main gate to its spread across the globe within the up-coming years. Finally, Dr. Galal has confirmed that a lot of efforts and focus will be dedicated to Africa to start and enable a sustainable growth within the continent through IBDL professional curriculums and certifications.

IBDL sponsors Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar’s scholarships

  IBDL Foundation has been honored to participate in the graduation ceremony of the first batch from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST) to be granted “Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Scholarship”, President of AASTMT under the patronage of the strategic alliance and collaboration between IBDL and Arab Institute for Leadership Development (AILD) affiliated to AASTMT.   The ceremony took place on Sunday and Monday 5th, and 6th of March, 2017. The AASTMT has celebrated the graduation of the first batch of students who obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Maritime Transport and Technology, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of Management and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering, Transport and Information Technology. The graduation ceremony witnessed the presence of Dr. Mohammed Sultan, Governor of Alexandria, Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail, President of AASTMT, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Labib, Dean of the College of Management and Technology, Dr. Mohi El Sayeh, Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Transport and Technology, and Dr. Khaled Khallaf, CEO of IBDL Foundation.

Egypt’s First Entrepreneurship Forum

Within the framework of boosting SMEs which support export trade and provide job opportunities for youth, The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) affiliated to the Arab League has organized the first international forum for business leadership in Egypt, at its headquarters in Cairo and Alexandria. In the presence of an array of international experts in Business field, the forum was held on Sunday, 5th of March and will continue its events until Thursday, 9thof March, 2017, under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail, President of AASTMT. Professor Neven Gamea, the Secretary General of the Social Fund for Development and Deputy Minister of Commerce, Prof. Dr. Khalid Qasim, Deputy of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Hany Minshawi, President of the Federation of Small and Medium Industries, and Dr. Khaled Khallaf, CEO of IBDL Foundation were among the attendees of the forum. The forum aims at supporting export and tourism, through entrepreneurship which contributes greatly to the change of Egyptian and Arab economic future. It also provides motivation to youth and innovators to unleash their creations and bring their businesses to the light where their products can invade local and global markets. Moreover, the forum is designed to enhance SMEs which support export trade.  It is worth mentioning that the forum is held in March to coincide with its partner International Forum on Entrepreneurship in South Africa. This forum is regarded as non-profitable service which is provided for the first time to raise the awareness of entrepreneurship as part of the AASTMT belief of its societal role as a specialized organization affiliated with the Arab League.

Training 90 Egyptian Diplomats on Attracting Investment Skills

  Within the framework of the Egyptian approach to opening up the world markets to attract investments and exports which support the Egyptian security on the economic level, the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) affiliated to the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the International Business Driving License (IBDL) has organized an integrated program to develop the skills of Egyptian diplomats in the fields of investment and international trade. This program is the first of its kind in the region.  The 3-days workshop, which lasted for until Wednesday 29/3/2017, was started d off by Ambassador Dr. Hazem Fahmy, the Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD), Ambassador Mona Omar, Former Assistant of Foreign Minister, member of the Committee of Eminent Persons of the African Mechanism and Chair of International Relations Committee National Council of Women and Dr. Khaled Khallaf, Chief executive officer at IBDL, along with Ms. Laila Al-Mokaddem Regional Representative of the African Development Bank, and over 90 of Egyptian diplomats. Moreover, Professor Sherif Delawar, Professor of Strategic Management and the renowned economic thinker of the Arab Academy for Sciences and technology, has overseen the workshop. Dr. Hazem Fahmy, the Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency, said that 90 Egyptian diplomats participated in an intensive course entitled "Strategic Thinking and Modern Diplomacy" over a period of three days, which included a presentation on the concepts of sustainable development, sharing economy and governing mechanisms  as well as a practical training on managing human resources. Additionally, the ambassador has pointed out that the training course is held for the first time in Egypt and aims at training Egypt's ambassadors on modern diplomacy in the 21st century, which focuses on the economic aspect. He also added that the participants will undergo a one and a half month training program. In collaboration with EAPD, IBDL organized a reception for the Ambassadors of African countries during the last day of the workshop on Wednesday at the Diplomatic Club. The aim of this reception was to announce offering (1000) executive education grants to African countries, which include test incentives and test for individuals from African countries. The grants also include a set of integrated educational materials and tests that provide the business management skills required by all businesses of all modern institutions in the public and private sectors in all administrative, financial, marketing and leadership specializations.

IBDL Certificates in Iraq

    Last Saturday on the 18th of March 2017, an introductory symposium, about the importance and benefits of obtaining the International Business Driving License (IBDL), was held in Basra, Iraq.   The gala was overseen by the Director of Future of Basra QHSE Training, the main accredited institution in Iraq for establishing IBDL’s courses and tests, Basra Governorate Council, Businessmen Association, Basra University and Basra Branch Companies.     An introductory lecture was delivered by Dr. Wameed Abdul-Zahra from the University of Basra, under the title of "The Importance and Benefits of the Three Business Administration Certificates" (Essential - Professional - Master) which are accredited and approved by the University of Missouri, USA and would be given to businessmen, companies and universities in Iraq.     It is worth noting that the International Business Driving License (IBDL) provides the three certificates in Arabic, English and French.

The Elite of Francophonie Women

  With an interest in developing women’s economic empowerment and capacity-building in the field of business, IBDL Foundation will sponsor the celebration of Francophonie Women International Day. This gala is held in collaboration with The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Senghor University of Alexandria. Along with the gala, an international conference entitled "Regards croisés des femmes francophones Nord-Sud" will be held as well. The five-session conference will cover a variety of topics about Francophonie women, politics, economics, the media, education, health, and medicine. Gathering-up elite Egyptian, Arab, African, European and Francophonie figures, the conference will be shedding light on the most successful achievements of women today, who participate eagerly in all areas of human activity. Francophonie women particularly play a crucial role in the French-speaking communities and countries across five continents, where they struggle continuously in a world ruled by a web of infinite personal interests and conflicts. It is worth mentioning that Bibliotheca Alexandrina celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, while The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt celebrates its Silver Jubilee. Within the framework of IBDL’s devotion to women’s empowerment, IBDL offers the training and examination of the international professional certificate "IBDL Essential" in French. Also, Dr. Mohamed Galal - Head of French Department in IBDL, is expected to give a speech regarding the role of international professional certificates in the economic empowerment of women. This gala will be held on the 15th and the 16th of March, 2017 in Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt.

IBDL Signs cooperation protocol with LMDC

  International Business Driving License  «IBDL» has signed an agreement protocol with Leadership & Management Development Center (LMDC), affiliated to the Ministry of Business Sector in order to build, train and assess the capabilities of executive leaders within the holding companies, affiliated to the Ministry of Business Sector.   The agreement was signed between Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ibrahim, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, Head of Projects and Training Sector for Development and Director of Leadership & Management Development Center (LMDC) and Dr. Khaled Khallaf, the Chief Executive Officer of IBDL Foundation. On his part, Dr. Khaled Khallaf expressed his pride by this collaboration with Leadership & Management Development Center (LMDC) to provide training to executive leaders. In addition to the business simulation games and professional assessments to enhance the capabilities of the executive leaders through the implementation of the latest international standards and methodologies in executive education. LMDC has been approved as IBDL training provider and testing center for the three Business Administration Certificates (Essential - Professional - Master), endorsed by MDI at Missouri State University (MSU)

IBDL is now in AAST branches

  Great news for those who are interested in taking their career to the next level as IBDL is now available in all AAST branches around the country: Alexandria: Miami and Wabour Al Maya. Cairo: Sheraton, Smart Village and Dokki. Port Said. Aswan.  IBDL issues three certificates which are certified by Missouri State University, USA.   On February the 18th, 2017, Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghaffar, The President of AAST signed a cooperation protocol with IBDL’s CEO Dr. Khaled Khallaf. IBDL will be delivered in AAST through Arab Institute for Leadership Development (AILD).   The protocol stated the accreditation of AILD as an approved training provider and testing center for IBDL’s three certificates (Essential, Professional and Master). In addition to the business simulation games, professional assessment centers and a set of professional certificates endorsed by MDI at Missouri State University.
