IBDL supports African Union Capabilities

  IBDL Foundation, EAPD and the African Union are currently negotiating an MOU for strategic cooperation in order to support the African Union with building its leadership and managerial capacities. After a fruitful meeting at the African Union headquarters at Addis Ababa between IBDL Foundation and the African Union HR & Admin Director, the negotiations will aim to develop curriculums suitable for the mission, culture and goals of that reputable organization. As a result, several successful contacts were signed between EAPD and the African Union within EAPD mission to support the African Union capabilities.

IBDL initiative supports African Youth

  IBDL Foundation has attended the international conference "Youth Connect" that was hosted by Rwanda under the sponsorship of his Excellency the Minister of Youth and ICT in Rwanda. During IBDL intervention in that conference, Dr. Mohamed Galal (IBDL CDO - Africa) has announced the initiative of IBDL and EAPD to present 1100 scholarships to 21 African countries. That initiative was widely welcomed by the officials and the attendees as those scholarships come within EAPD mission to support African Youth and within IBDL mission to build the next generation of African professionals.

IBDL’s 1000 African Scholarships

  On July the 12th, EAPD in association with IBDL celebrated the inauguration of the project of “The African Next-Generation Professionals 1000 Scholarships Project”. These scholarships target the CEOs and executives from 21 African countries to provide professional leadership training. This project is a live example of Egypt’s commitment towards the sustainable development in Mother Africa.                                 The initiative of the “The African Next-Generation Professionals Project”  aims at contributing to developing modern management systems and entrepreneurship in African countries; in order to achieve sustainable development goals.        His Excellency Ambassador Hazem Fahmy, the Secretary General of EAPD, has declared that different 21 African countries are benefiting from these scholarships in the first phase of the project, which includes the certificate of “IBDL Essential”. Moreover, he confirmed that the certifications of IBDL are conducted according to international criteria and up-to-date executive educational curriculum.     Dr. Khaled Khallaf, CEO of IBDL, said that these certifications professionally promote and enable their holders of mastering business administration skills. Nonetheless, IBDL seeks to support the international and local society to acquire more knowledge of business, in order to achieve the maximum profit from the skills of the country’s executives. Dr. Khallaf also declared that this initiative aims at effectively contributing to the growth of economy and production of the countries in general.

The Training of the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation.

  Within the framework of cooperation between IBDL Foundation and National Management Institute (NMI), Mr. Ehab Seif, First Undersecretary at The Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, has inaugurated the first training wave of the capacity-building program. This training program is dedicated to the preparation of the second cadres staff of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Additionally, this training program aims at building and developing young leaders and executives skills within the Ministry and its affiliates.

  Within the frame of the special interest that IBDL is giving to Africa, Dr. Khaled Khallaf (CEO of IBDL) has been honored to meet his Excellency the President of Guinea Conakry. Mr. ALPHA Conde. During that meeting, Mister the President has decided to give away for wider cooperation with IBDL, within his vision for a modernized Guinea with a developed and well-trained human capital, that can drive a sustainable development in Guinea.     Within that same context, Dr. Moahmed Galal, the chief development officer for Africa, has met his Excellency the Guinean Ambassador in Cairo: Mr. Soriba Camara. The Graduation of the first batch from the Developing Egyptian Diplomats Skills program

  The Egyptian Foreign Ministry headquarters witnessed, on Monday, the graduation ceremony of the first batch of "Developing Egyptian Diplomats' Skills." The program aimed at attracting foreign investments, expanding exports, and promoting Egypt image abroad. Dr. Hazem Fahmy, General Secretary of EAPD, has declared that; the agency has been working for months with IBDL on developing an integrated skills boosting the program, for Egyptian diplomats in the fields of investment and international trade. The program includes; modern international economic concepts, business and marketing fundamentals, and developing communication skills with businessmen.  African Development Bank financed the program. Dr. Khaled Khallaf, CEO of IBDL, confirmed that; this program is the first of its kind in the Middle East, and that it was designed especially for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

IBDL and ACI Join Hands

  On the sidelines of the Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa that was hosted in Jordan last week, International Business Driving License (IBDL) signed an agreement with Amman Chamber ofIndustry (ACI). As a part of the agreement, IBDL will provide its professional materials to the business community in Jordan. This will contribute to the development of the business management skills of theJordanianleaders, executives, and entrepreneurs.   The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Khalid Khallaf, the CEO of IBDL, and Mr. Ziad Bahjat Al Homsi, the Chairman of Amman Chamber of Industry.   The forum convened over 1,000 government, business and civil society leaders from more than 50 countries. Moreover, the forum provided a collaborative platform for shaping the future of the Middle East and North Africa through public-private cooperation.

Congratulations to the 1st Batch of the Female African Media Gurus

  On Thursday 18th of May, IBDL, in Association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has celebrated the end of the training of the African women working in the media. The training was organized by IBDL and the Egyptian Agency for Partnership and Development (EAPD) in accordance with the National Council of Women and the Media Chamber. IBDL is a strong supporter of the national attitude towards the African Continent and the active role soft power plays in strengthening the bond between Egypt and the governments of the African continent. In the light of this belief, IBDL has given the female African media journalists the title of ambassadors of education in their countries. Minister Moushira Khatab, Egypt's candidate to the UNESCO, and many other influencing calibers in the African business field have also attended the ceremony. On the sidelines of the ceremony, IBDL awarded the 'IBDL Ambassador for Education and Development' certificate for the first time in its history to the members of the delegation of African women journalists working in the Radio and Television Union and newspapers from 30 African countries. This comes in line with the global approach in recent years to support the empowerment and promotion of women's presence in all leadership and executive positions.

IBDL and EAPD offer scholarships in Africa

  With its strong belief in the tremendous importance of Africa, IBDL has appointed Dr. Mohamed Galal as Chief Development Officer dedicated to Africa. During an exclusive interview with him, Dr. Galal has confirmed the great importance IBDL is giving to the African continent, as well as the amount of investment IBDL is planning for Africa during 2017 and 2018. Dr. Galal has also announced that IBDL is regarding Africa as its main gate to its spread across the globe within the up-coming years. IBDL, in association with EAPD, has gifted more than 1000 CEOs from 20 African countries a training on the modern business management skills, and the required examination to obtain IBDL certificates. The scholarship is given in three languages (Arabic, French, English). He also claimed that the EAPD has organized, in association with IBDL, Media Chamber and the national council of women , and supported from theAfrican Bank for Development, the first tournament of the program of African Egyptian media collaboration for female African media gurus, titled" Current African Media and the Role of Female African media gurus in shaping its future."
