Diplomats of the 21st Century and Economic Diplomacy

International Business Driving License (IBDL) is set to hit the Indian market for the first time in fields of learning and development (L&D) as a first step in its plan of participation and cooperation in the improvement of the Indian job market. This participation aims at developing and creating a greater cooperation between various competent professionals across several industries to share and showcase how to further enhance the L&D function in the Indian job market. The step was taken as part of the events of the Indian Summit for Education and Development which was held in the Indian capital New Delhi between 20th and 21st of September. The Summit was attended by a number of experts and professionals in the field of education and development.

IBDL: Tripartite cooperation to develop executive education in Egypt

  Missouri State University and International  Business Driving License (IBDL) have celebrated their cooperation with Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT). This partnership aims to accredit a number of joint international professional diplomas in executive management, and business entrepreneurship and innovation. As well as accrediting the curricula of (IBDL) as part of Masters Programs in the Arab Academy.   During the ceremony, AASTMT has celebrated the graduation of a new patch of students from the Faculty of Management and Technology for the year 2016/ 2017. The graduates come from five different countries; Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and Nigeria. Attended the ceremony a group of high profile society members, including; Dr. Ismail Abdulghaffar, Dean of The Arab Academy, Dr. Waheed Amr, President of UTM, Dr. Robeya Youssef, Dean of MJIIT, Mr. Jeffrey Schmeke, Director of Management Development Institute at Missouri State University, Counselor. Nazeh Al barodi, counselor at The University of Balamand in Lebanon, Dr. Amr Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, deputy of the academy; Dr. Gamal Ghallosh, Dr. Gamal Selim, and a group of Egyptian diplomats.

IBDL represents Egypt in RBF

  IBDL was pleased to represent Egypt in Responsible Business Forum (RBF) on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa. This forum is considered one of the biggest forums around the world to connect between governments, private sectors, civil society and international organizations to achieve sustainable development. Furthermore, it gladly presented its great experience in cooperating with the Egyptian government and the African governments, under the support of EAPD (Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development). It shed light for the first time on the importance of setting up a partnership between governments, private sector and international organizations. Most of the audience applauded and admired the great example presented by his Excellency Ambassador Hazem Fahmy, Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) and Dr. Adel Sadek, IBDL Chief Business Officer, reflecting the success of this partnership in achieving sustainable development in Egypt and Africa.

A business lunch with the Guinean Foreign Affairs Minister

  On the 15th of August, 2017, IBDL took the honor of organizing a business lunch with the Guinean Foreign Minister, discussing its initiative for youth in Guinea. The lunch was attended by Dr. Hazem Fahmy, the Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency, Ambassador Mona Omar, formerly assistant to the foreign minister on African affairs, along with H.E ambassador of Guinea in Egypt and the accompanying delegation of the Minister.   In the presence of Dr. Adel Sadek (IBDL Chief Business Officer) and Dr. Khaled Khallaf, (CEO of IBDL), Dr. Mohamed Galal (IBDL CDO - Africa) discussed IBDL goal of changing Guinea’s diplomacy to focus more on its economy. Moreover, they reviewed with her Excellency the 100 scholarships to Guinea Initiative, training the Guinean diplomats and its partnership with Al Nasser University. In the light of this event, IBDL would like to thank her Excellency for trusting IBDL Foundation’s capabilities to support Guinea through its partnership with the EAPD in the Egyptian Foreign Affairs.

Farewelling The Elite Francophonic Women

On August the 8th, IBDL held the closing ceremony of the five-session international conference titled "Regards croisés des femmes francophones Nord-Sud". The conference covered a variety of topics about Francophonie women, politics, economics, the media, education, health, and medicine. Gathering-up elite Egyptian, Arab, African, European and Francophonie figures, the conference shed light on the most successful achievements of women today, who participate eagerly in all areas of human activity.   Francophonie women particularly play a crucial role in the French-speaking communities and countries across five continents, where they struggle continuously in a world ruled by a web of infinite personal interests and conflicts. Held in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt, the conference featured a speech by Dr. Mohamed Galal - Head of French Department in IBDL. On his part, Dr. Galal weighed on in the vital role of the IBDL certificates in the economic empowerment of women in Africa. Dr. Galal highlighted how over the years, IBDL has shown a great interest in developing women’s economic empowerment and capacity-building in the field of business and will gladly continue to do so.

IBDL targets knowledge transfer in Djibouti
2017-08-01
  Through the EAPD/IBDL strategic partnership, Djibouti has accepted 50 scholarships from IBDL and they are expected to be executed at the INAP at Djibouti by October this year. Those scholarships will mark the start of a partnership between IBDL Foundation, EAPD and INAP in Djibouti for knowledge transfer and capacity building of the governmental next generation of professionals at Djibouti.     After a successful trip to Djibouti, Dr. Khaled Khallaf (IBDL CEO) and Dr. Mohamed Galal (IBDL CDO - Africa) have announced that negotiations are engaged between IBDL Foundation and the INAP Djibouti National Training Institute to deliver IBDL courses for the governmental employees  as its mission is to develop their managerial capacity. Among IBDL expansion plans in Africa, serious negotiations have been engaged between IBDL Foundation and the Djiboutian Chamber of Commerce. Those negotiations aim to expand IBDL training and certification to include the Djiboutian private sector through the Chamber’s expected accreditation as a service provider and an accredited examination center. This possible accreditation will enable the Chamber to provide the private sector with all IBDL trainings and certifications.
