Graduation of the second Batch from the developing Egyptian Diplomats skills program

IBDL celebrated the graduation of the second batch of the Executive Woman Leadership Program (EWLP) for 130 women from five different Egyptian governorates (Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Minia, Port-Said) as a part of the activities organized by the National Anti-Corruption Academy - subordinated to ‎‎– the Administrative Control Authorityin collaboration with IBDL Foundation, and in the presence of Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the The National Council for Women ,Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of National Management Institute (NMI), and General “Hesham Za’louk”, President of the National Anti-Corruption Academy. EWLP aims at developing the technical skills of the most promising women leaders in the Egyptian Government to enable them to reach senior positions and refine their expertise in dealing with the modern challenges of government work.

Within IBDL’s efforts to spread awareness of entrepreneurship, and introduce it in the educational content of university students, a unique model of atypical interactive education based on learning and sharing concepts will be provided through a collaboration between Alexandria University, represented by Dr. Essam Al-Kurdi, President of the University, and IBDL Foundation, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Khaled Khallaf.   The partnership agreement between the two parties in the field of management and entrepreneurship was signed yesterday at the headquarters of Alexandria University, in the presence of Dr. Hesham Gaber, Vice President of Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Hassan Nadeer, Former University President, Dr. Mohammed Belal, Executive Director of Career Development Center and Entrepreneurship at the University, and Miss. Mona Ahmed, Director of Business Development at IBDL Foundation.    

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, IBDL, in collaboration with the National Management Institute (NMI), the Faculty of Economics And Political Science Cairo University, Missouri State University , and the National Anti-Corruption Academy of the Administrative Control Authority, launched the second batch of the Government Leadership Development Program (GLDP) within the framework of Egypt's 2030 vision for sustainable development and executive plan of building human capital. The program aims at empowering middle management leaders and executive leaders in the Egyptian Government, refining their expertise in dealing with challenges, and raising the basic standards of government performance.

Under the auspices of Nama Group and Tayseer Platform in Oman, The Muheet Institute for Training and Management (Accredited Educational Partner) has launched the IBDL International Certification Preparation Program “Business Essential” to train entrepreneurs and SMEs in Oman on Business Administration Skills (BAS); in order to prepare for Oman's participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 in cooperation with the organizing committee.

Within the agreement between Université Senghor à Alexandrie en Egypte and IBDL to support and develop the skills of 200 French-speaking African leaders in management, leadership and planning skills, Mrs. Nazli Farid will conduct a two-week training on "Business Administration" in collaboration with Mr. Siddiq Abubakar Nondishaw, Head of Training Mission at Senghor University and an IBDL Certified Trainer. It is worth mentioning that IBDL is the only Egyptian institution offering executive education programs and professional certificates in French in more than 30 Francophone countries around the world.  

In the presence of Dr. Hala Al Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Chairman of the National of Institute Management, IBDL foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the National Institute of Management, launched the Executive Leadership Program for African Women. About 100 women from 45 African countries participated. The aim of this program is to improve the classification of African countries in the indicators of women's empowerment and participation, by improving the efforts of their governments. It is an interactive educational platform for women to share experiences about best practices in general administration and executive leadership

WIN vs WAR simulation game was held on Wednesday, January 29th, in a collaboration between IBDL Foundation and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the chamber's headquarters. It was attended by Mr. Hassan Behnam, president of the Chamber, who at the end of the day delivered certificates to the participants. WIN vs WAR is a simulation game that teaches participants about basic business concepts such as: (Negotiation - Leadership - Communication - Organization - Strategic planning).

IBDL Foundation and the National Institute of Management celebrated the graduation of the first batch of "Development of Government Leadership" training program.The program was implemented in collaboration with Missouri State University and Cairo University, aiming at developing and enhancing individual competence, institutional excellence, and the training of government sector workers in alignment with Egypt's 2030 Vision and the sustainable development strategy for human capital investment.The graduation ceremony was attended by Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute of Management, Mr. Nabil Fouad, Program Implementation Supervisor, and Dr. Khaled Khallaf, Executive Director of IBDL. The trainees were divided into groups and each group prepared a graduation project. The topics of the projects included: (The investment map of economic groupings, the qualification of the Central Department of International Relations at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to obtain the certificate of quality management ("ISO"), the raising of the efficiency of the system of development and skills-building for employees of the state’s administrative apparatus, the project of digital transformation of the system of grants provided by the Arab Republic of Egypt represented in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to various countries in the world, the mechanization of government meetings’ management between the Ministry of Finance and various government sectors, the digital transformation at the National Institute of Management, and finally a feasibility study of projects). It is also worth mentioning that the "Development of Government Leadership" program included three stages carried out between Cairo, Egypt and Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

Expanding its efforts in the African continent and its belief in the need to establish relations with the French-speaking business community, IBDL foundation, represented by its Chief Executive Dr. Khaled Khallaf and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in EGYPT, represented by the Executive Director Mr. Hassan Behnam, signed a protocol of cooperation between the two parties to empower and train the leaders of the member companies of the Chamber on modern business management standards using different IBDL certificates and products;- Business Basics certificate for entrepreneurs and fresh graduates.- Business Planning Management Certificate for Middle Management.- Leadership and Business Strategies Certificate. In addition to using professional assessment centers and business simulation programs developed and offered by IBDL around the world in all three languages (Arabic, English, French).
