The 2nd Phase Of The Development of Government Leadership Program

The second phase of the Development of Government Leadership Program has begun in the ‎United States of America.‎ The program is organized by IBDL Foundation and Missouri State University in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform and the National Management Institute (NMI) , as well as the Faculty of Economics And Political Science Cairo University   At this stage, the trainees went to the University of Missouri in the United States to be trained ‎on how to set goals and make governmental strategies.‎   ‎This phase includes visits to some smart government institutions in Kansas City; so the trainees could learn about ‎the country’s smart institutions and transmit the experience to Egypt.‎ During that visit, the trainees met with Kansas City's Head of International Relations and Trade, ‎Narbli Galdino, and The Head of Government Innovation, Alexander Brasizco. As well as Bob ‎Pant, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence Consultant.‎   It is also worth mentioning that the first phase of the program took place at the Faculty of ‎Economics and Political Sciences at Cairo University.‎

The Development Of Government Leadership Program Finishes Its Second Phase In The USA

The Development of Government Leadership training program finishes its second phase in the USA.   The program is organized by IBDL Foundation and Missouri State University in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform and the National Management Institute (NMI) , as well as the Faculty of Economics And Political Science Cairo University. It aims at empowering a number of promising leaders to manage the process of institutional transformation in alignment with Egypt’s 2030 vision. The trainees went to the University of Missouri in the United States to be trained ‎on how to set goals and make governmental strategies. The training period included visits to some smart government institutions, including Kansas City, Kansas, which is the most intelligent city in the world; managed through digital transformation and the use of big data. They learnt about the digital transformation experience and how to benefit from it.

Development of Government Leadership Program

In a collaboration between IBDL Foundation, the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform / Planning Commission, and the National Management Institute (NMI) - the Development of Government Leadership - was launched ‎recently in cooperation between the Faculty of Economics And Political Science Cairo University and Missouri State University. The workshop aims to ‎build the capabilities of the middle management and executive leaders in the ‎Egyptian government to train them on governmental action and raising the ‎basic standards of performance in terms of cost, quality, speed and innovation ‎that will support #Egypt2030 Vision to achieve sustainable development and ‎digital transformation and this workshop is taking place between Egypt and the USA. The workshop focuses on three tracks: Executive Education, Self-Development, ‎and Evaluation.‎ During the opening ceremony , Dr. Hala Al-Said, Minister of Planning, ‎Monitoring and Administrative Reform stated:‎ ‎"The program will contribute to supporting the government’s performance by ‎focusing on a number of important topics and promoting interactive participation ‎and exchange of experiences among government leaders in accordance with the ‎best practices of modern government administration."‎ Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute of Management, ‎said that by the end of the program, participants will receive an international ‎certificate from Missouri State University and a certificate from Cairo University ‎and the National Institute of Management.‎

Business Simulation in Strategic Leadership Workshop

Under the patronage of Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning Monitoring and Administrative ‎Reform, yesterday, IBDL in cooperation with Ain Shams University and the National Institute of ‎Management launched the "Business Simulation in Strategic Leadership" workshop. ‎ The workshop is the first of its kind as it targets university leaders in the region starting with the ‎leaders of Ain Shams University (University Council) as the first university in Egypt and the ‎Middle East.‎ The Business Simulation in Strategic Leadership workshop comes within the framework of the ‎university's quest for institutional transformation and leadership according to #Egypt2030 Vision ‎in the development of Egyptian higher education institutions to implement the state strategy ‎and to build qualified human cadres and build a team capable of creating a properly educated ‎generation.‎ The opening ceremony included:‎ Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metni, President of Ain Shams University Prof. Nazmy Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental ‎Development Prof. Abdul Nasser Sinjab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Prof. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education, Students ‎ In additions to the Deans of Cairo University’s colleges as well.

A Capacity Building Program for African Diplomats in Korea

In alignment with Egypt’s support to the African Union and continuing its efforts to support ‎Africa and its professionals, IBDL Foundation joined hands with AfroDev to organize the ‎Capacity Building Program for African Diplomats, held from 4th to 8th November in Seoul, Korea. ‎ The program is supported by and held in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Egypt), the ‎Egyptian Embassy in Seoul, the African Export Import Bank - Afreximbank, (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) and the Korea African Development Foundation.‎ The program’s opening ceremony witnessed an opening speech by HE Ambassador Hazem Fahmy, ‎Egypt's Ambassador in South Korea and Director of the Korea-Africa Development Foundation. ‎ It is worth mentioning that, the program’s training is carried out by HE Ambassador Wafaa Bassim and ‎Dr. Akram ElZayat.‎

The Forth Bootcamp for AELP

Continuing its efforts to provide support to ‎government executive leaders in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance (Egypt) , IBDL launched the fourth camp of the Advanced ‎Program for Executive Leadership (AELP) at the ‎Ministry of Finance recently.‎ The fourth camp of the #AELP program is a qualifying ‎training program concerned with the practical ‎application of skills, especially leadership skills. This ‎is done by using cutting-edge simulation games in ‎which participants are placed in an environment ‎similar to their work and they get to evaluate their ‎projects and strengths and weaknesses.‎ The AELP program focuses on the study of ‎management in a modern and applicable way and ‎how to deal with contemporary challenges of ‎government’s work and improve institutional ‎performance and contribute to the achievement of the ‎strategic plan of the Ministry.‎

The 3rd Bootcamp For AELP Program

As part of the #AELP program, IBDL Foundation and the Egyptian Ministry of Finance (Egypt) , held the third bootcamp to discuss institutional development projects (#Capstone). The program involved participants from all sectors and agencies. The AELP program aims at training and empowering promising leaders and cadres, refine their expertise in dealing with contemporary challenges of government work, improve their institutional performance and contributions to the achievement of the strategic plan of the ministry.

A New Agreement with Jeddah International College

The agreement aims for the development of various training programs to the Saudi youth.
